Studies show that more than 80% of consumers want to read reviews about financial advisors before making a hiring decision. Yet, fewer than 10% of advisors today have begun using client testimonials in their practice. Since the SEC Marketing Rule took effect in 2021 (and its subsequent adoption by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, Securities Division, in 2023), both Florida RIAs registered at either the federal or state level can now invite clients to write online reviews and implement testimonial marketing programs. In this session, you will learn how to successfully and compliantly launch an online review collection and testimonial marketing program to accelerate the growth of your business while helping consumers make more informed and educated hiring decisions.
