Get Involved
Contribute to the financial planning profession, grow your network and get involved with our work at every stage of your career through CFP Board events, volunteer opportunities and more.

Volunteer Opportunities: Your Expertise Needed
Help women see financial planning as a profession that's right for them. Provide financial advice to those who wouldn't otherwise have access. Help CFP Board maintain CFP® certification as the standard of excellence in the financial planning profession. These are just a few ways you can benefit both your community and profession.

Track Your Pro Bono Hours
Are you one of the thousands across the country who are providing free, no-strings attached, one-on-one financial advice to underserved people? When you provide pro bono financial planning advice, you not only show how financial planners are helping their communities — you may also be able to make progress toward your CFP® certification requirements. Pro bono volunteer hours may count toward the Experience requirement for initial CFP® certification, and pro bono training programs may be eligible for Continuing Education credit. Report your hours to find out.
