Description
Members of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor GroupSM meet in-person semiannually to tackle the latest IRA and tax law updates; network with like-minded financial professionals; and receive highly technical information, focused on tax laws, retirement distribution planning, and IRAs from Ed Slott and Company, LLC instructors in a traditional classroom setting/course.
This live meeting will be presented by our teachers, using the submitted manual. Members have the ability to ask questions throughout the workshop, along with individualized time if warranted during breaks. Attendees’ follow-up questions from the class can be asked by phone or email to instructors for answers and/or clarification. Attendees’ presence will be tracked via sign-in/sign-out sheets on both days.
Members of this ongoing study group are required to attend two workshops per year (with exceptions handled on a case-by-case basis), so they become better fiduciaries to their clients and help their clients prepare for and navigate through their retirements. In our opinion, this is the most comprehensive, ongoing study group ever created to address virtually every aspect of protecting and growing clients’ retirement accounts.
In this particular online workshop, Ed Slott and his team will dive into topics such as SECURE Act Updates; Final and Proposed RMD Regulations Review; Retirement Account Transactions; Tracking Basis in an IRA; Net Unrealized Appreciation; The New Mandatory Roth Catch-Up Contribution Requirement; The “Mega Backdoor Roth Conversion” and the Pro Rata Rule; IRA and Tax Cases and Rulings; Advanced IRA and Trust Estate Planning; Social Security Fairness Act; Social Security Benefit Optimization
