Ed Slott and Company’s Exclusive 2-Day IRA Workshop is 2 full days of intense education on retirement distribution, tax, and insurance planning.
This class is open to anyone interested in learning more on this topic, but typically is made up of financial advisors (financial planners, life insurance agents, CPAs, EAs, accountants, and estate planning attorneys). Our goal is to educate these financial advisors on the complexities of IRAs and estate planning and simplify the Tax Code so advisors are better equipped to be a fiduciary and navigate their clients through the planning necessary to achieve financial security.
This is a live presentation with an intermediate to advanced level of study. This class is filled with vast amounts of education/instruction that simplifies the IRS Tax Code, including case studies, rules and laws, and crucial updates pertaining to retirement planning. Throughout each class session (along with one-on-one opportunities during all breaks) will be thorough questions and answers.
Learning Objectives
1. Help attendees to become competent, educated financial advisors who in turn do a better job for their clients planning or living through retirement
2. For attendees to become confidant, yet realize all there is to know and all that they don’t know when working with clients; enable attendees to know where and how to find answers and develop sophisticated estate plans surrounding the curriculum provided during this workshop
3. Put together a “Monday-morning” action plan for whom the knowledge gained during this workshop is applicable – connect the correlation between the information provided and current clients
4. Stop consumers/clients from paying needless taxation and penalties
5. Learn how to perform the mathematical calculations of the topics covered to properly engage and illustrate the pros and cons to various aspects of clients’ financial, tax, and legal planning
