Description
The significance of financial wellness is growing in the minds of employers and advisors. Employers have taken note of the financial challenges their employees face and how those challenges relate to overall health, wellness, and job performance. Advisors continue to help plan sponsors implement programs that fit plans’ specific needs.
Although employers and advisors have broadly come to recognize the importance of financial wellness, opinions differ about how best to define, implement, and measure its effectiveness.
To bring clarity to these issues, we conducted advisor research in conjunction with financial wellness provider, Retiremap, and Duke University’s behavioral finance lab: The Center for Advanced Hindsight.
We will highlight the connection between our research findings and defining financial wellness program success.
