In this unprecedented and challenging time, the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning continues its important work to advance the financial planning profession for the public’s benefit. Thanks to the support from our many corporate sponsors, individual donors and dedicated volunteers, we are making important progress in our mission to create a more diverse and sustainable financial planning profession.
We are proud to share this progress with you in our 2019 Annual Report. The report provides an overview of initiatives and partnerships undertaken by the Center in the past year in each of our three focus areas:
- Talent Pipeline: Attracting and cultivating a quality workforce to grow the profession.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Developing a workforce that better reflects our country’s changing demographics.
- Knowledge for Practice: Elevating financial planning as a recognized academic discipline while building a research-based body of knowledge for practitioners.
Our Annual Report also acknowledges our contributors and volunteers who have generously given their resources and time to support the Center. They make our work possible, and we are grateful for their steadfast commitment to the advancement of the financial planning profession so that every American has access to competent and ethical financial planning advice.
