June Taylor, JD

Chief of Staff

June Taylor is Chief of Staff at CFP Board, where she serves as a strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer. In this role, she oversees the Executive Office and Human Resources functions, helping ensure disciplined execution of the organization’s strategic priorities.

June has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across government, education and the private sector. She served on then-Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper’s cabinet as Executive Director of the Department of Personnel & Administration, overseeing centralized human resources and enterprise services supporting more than 30,000 employees statewide. She also served as Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, Chief Human Resources Officer for Denver Public Schools, and as Senior Manager of Culture, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Programs at Lockheed Martin. Most recently, she was Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at IMA Financial Group.

Earlier, June served as Chief of Staff in the Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission and as a federal attorney with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Western Area Power Administration. She began her legal career clerking for judges in Colorado’s 2nd Judicial District.

June earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New Mexico. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
