Desi Wyatt, CRPC®

Desi Wyatt, CFPC® joined CFP Board as Managing Director, Corporate Growth in May 2026. In this role, he leads strategies to strengthen firm engagement, expand the pipeline of future CFP® professionals and support workforce growth across the financial planning profession.

Desi brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial services, wealth management and the military. Prior to joining CFP Board, he served as Director of Field Readiness and Strategy for Citi's U.S. Consumer Wealth business, where he led advisor development and workforce growth initiatives focused on accelerating readiness for client-facing professionals, strengthening career pathways and supporting long-term talent development.

Earlier in his career, Desi held leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, SunTrust, Genworth and GE. He serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad A).

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Desi served as a U.S. Army aviator flying the CH-47D "Chinook" helicopter, attaining the rank of Major. He earned an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University, holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) designation and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
