CFP Board convened the AI Working Group in June 2025 to examine how artificial intelligence is shaping financial planning and to develop guidance for CFP® professionals, firms, Registered Programs and other stakeholders. The group represents leaders from financial services, technology and academia who brought diverse perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of AI adoption.
