Otto Rivera, CFP®

Otto Rivera is a Financial Planner and Investment Manager based in Orlando, Florida. Through his firm, Mindful Wealth, LLC, he provides financial planning and investment advice to individuals, families, business owners, and U.S. citizens living abroad.

Otto began his financial services career supporting Registered Investment Advisors and financial planners at Charles Schwab & Co., where he became an International Subject Matter Expert on policy, complex cross-border issues, and advisor service relationships. He later joined White Lighthouse Investment Management, helping clients in the U.S. and Europe with planning and investment needs.

Otto serves on the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA) and has hosted FPA National virtual communities, including the International/Cross-Border and Behavioral Economics Knowledge Circles. He actively promotes pro bono financial planning through organizations like the Foundation for Financial Planning and Wings for Widows.

As a CFP Board Ambassador, Otto champions the value of financial planning and the CFP® mark, speaking to diverse audiences, contributing to public awareness initiatives, and leveraging his experience to advance the profession’s mission to benefit the public.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Otto is a proud neurodivergent professional who has shared his knowledge and experience on platforms such as the ADDitude Magazine Webcast Series, Moolala: Money Made Simple (Canada), Modern Husbands Podcast, and has contributed to articles at MarketWatch, CNBC Select, and Parent.com. He is a native Spanish speaker and avid traveler, having explored 18 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He lives in Orlando with his wife and daughter.
