Finance Jobs Attract Grads Despite Labor Concerns

With unemployment steady at 4.3%, recent graduates are increasingly worried about landing professional roles, as only 56% of U.S. respondents in CFA Institute’s 2026 Global Outlook Survey expressed confidence. Finance remained one of the top sectors (16%) that survey participants considered “stable and attractive,” Kathryn Berkenpas, CFP®, COO at CFP Board, noted firms are working to attract young talent by offering clearer career paths, fixed income structures and support such as CFP® certification reimbursement.
