How Advisors Can Start Treating AI Like a Tool, Not a Threat

Advisors who don’t adopt AI will increasingly compete against those who do, as tools like meeting note capture deliver immediate value by freeing advisors to apply their expertise more consistently. A 2025 survey by CFP Board found that adoption of AI-assisted planning tools among CFP® professionals rose more than 40% year over year, with improved client preparation and reduced administrative workload cited as the top benefits.
