CFP Board Names Kathryn Berkenpas as Chief Operating Officer

CFP Board has appointed Kathryn Berkenpas, CFP® as its new chief operating officer, effective May 4, following a national search, making her the first CFP® professional to hold the role. Berkenpas, who most recently served as managing director of corporate growth, will oversee CFP Board’s core operations and said she is committed to supporting the more than 109,000 CFP® professionals serving the public interest during a pivotal moment for the profession.
