CFP Board Appoints Kathryn Berkenpas as Its New Chief Operating Officer

CFP Board has appointed Kathryn Berkenpas, CFP®, as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective May 4, 2026, following a national search. Berkenpas, the first CFP® professional to serve in the role, succeeds K. Dane Snowden and will take on a position central to the operations of the organization responsible for setting and enforcing standards for personal financial planners in the United States.
