Celebrate National Financial Planning Month with CFP Board
October is National Financial Planning Month, a time to highlight the importance of financial planning and the trusted role of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals. Throughout the month, CFP Board is providing CFP® professionals with resources to share the value of financial planning, engage clients and inspire future professionals.
As part of National Financial Planning Month, CFP Board Ambassadors Douglas A. Boneparth, CFP®, Cary Carbonaro, MBA, CFP® and Charles Weeks, JD, CFP® appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss why having a financial plan is essential at every stage of life.
CFP Board Chair Liz Miller, CFP®, CFA® kicked off National Financial Planning Month live on Good Morning America, the nation’s most-watched morning show. Her appearance showcases the value of working with a CFP® professional and brings our message to a national audience.
The momentum continues with a companion article on GMA’s website featuring four CFP Board Ambassadors: Elaine King Fuentes, MBA, CFP®, Scott Ward, CFP®, Kurt Whitesell, CFP® and Chelsea Ransom-Cooper, CFP®. Through videos and personal stories, they illustrate how CFP® professionals make a real difference in people’s lives.
