As House Negotiates Tax Bill, RIA Advocates Push for Financial Advice Incentive

A coalition led by CFP Board has launched a joint effort to advocate for restoring the tax deduction for financial advice that was available to taxpayers who itemized their deductions prior to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. “Members across the country see the benefits of financial planning,” said Erin Koeppel, Managing Director of Government Relations and Public Policy Counsel at CFP Board.
