CFPs Say Tax Cut Extensions Crucial to Americans' Finances

A new CFP Board survey found most CFP® professionals fear that Americans will face considerable financial risks if lawmakers don’t extend key tax provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act before they expire at the end of 2025. “We’re at a tipping point that will define the financial future for millions of Americans,” CFP Board CEO Kevin Keller said in a statement.
