Although progress has been made, there is much work to be done to reach gender equality within the financial security sector. A study by CFP Board’s Women’s Initiative underscores several hurdles confronting women in financial planning, including insufficient awareness about the profession, gender bias and risk aversion, all of which can impede their professional growth and fulfillment.
