CFP Board completes rules overhaul with revised enforcement guidelines

CFP Board has completed the revision of its Sanction Guidelines and Fitness Standards for Candidates for CFP® Certification and Former CFP® Professionals Seeking Reinstatement (“Fitness Standards”), says General Counsel Leo Rydzewski. For CFP® professionals, "the key takeaway is that they should be confident" that CFP Board has created "an enforcement process that's fair to CFP® professionals and credible to the public," explains Rydzewski.
