Financial planning’s positive impact on his family helped inspire new CFP Board Chair Matthew B. Boersen, CFP®, CFA at an early age. As the youngest Chair in CFP Board history, he plans to help expand awareness of the financial planning profession, not just for college students but also for career changers. “We’re working to grow the registered program number, educate these universities and give them the resources where they can start these programs,” Boersen said.
