This course will provide financial advisors with a comprehensive overview of advanced insurance planning strategies for UHNW individuals and families. Advisors will explore specialized planning areas such as business succession, executive benefits, annuity reviews, charitable gifting strategies, and long-term care planning. The course will also cover life settlements, private placement life insurance (PPLI), and cross-border estate planning for global citizens. Through real-world case studies, attendees will learn how to identify inefficiencies in existing insurance portfolios, leverage 1035 exchanges, and design tailored solutions that align with client goals. Learning Objectives

Differentiate between term, whole life, variable, universal, and variable universal life (VUL) policies and select the most appropriate type of coverage to match a client's specific circumstances. Perform an insurance needs analysis for a client, including disability, life, health, long-term care, property and liability. Define and communicate key insurance policy terms, coverage, conditions and exclusions.
