Registered Programs

CFP Board Registered Programs are financial planning education programs at regionally accredited colleges or universities. These programs have been approved by CFP Board to deliver curriculum covering the 70 Principal Knowledge Topics that students must learn to fulfill the coursework requirement and sit for the CFP® exam.

Become a Registered Program

Join a fast-growing network of CFP Board Registered Programs across the US. Graduates of registered programs satisfy the coursework requirement for CFP® certification and are eligible to take the CFP® exam.

Qualifying institutions offer certificate programs and degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level, and must be accredited by your region's accrediting body. Contact Registered Programs for more information and to gain access to the online application.
