New Scholarship Targets Women Switching Careers To Advising

CFP Board Ambassador Cary Carbonaro, CFP® is helping women make a career change into wealth management through the Cary Carbonaro Women & Wealth Scholarship, which offers up to $5,000 per recipient and will award 20 scholarships over five years to women who have never worked in the financial services ecosystem and demonstrate financial need. Carbonaro said there are more career-changers entering the profession than students and noted a gap in available CFP® scholarships for career-changers, prompting the creation of the program in partnership with CFP Board.
