Retail Investors Just Got a Lot More Bullish on the Market, Schwab Says

Charles Schwab’s latest quarterly survey found that retail investors have become much more bullish on the U.S. stock market, with optimism rising even as many continue to view valuations as elevated and some Gen Z investors worry about a potential AI bubble. A similar trend appeared in CFP Board’s Summer 2026 CFP® Professional Sentiment Index, which found that both clients and CFP® professionals reported improved financial outlooks compared with the spring.
