CFPs Are Happy and Clients Are Optimistic: Survey

According to CFP Board’s Summer 2026 CFP® Professional Sentiment Index, CFP® professionals reported increased optimism among both clients and themselves, with half saying their clients have a positive financial outlook despite ongoing concerns about inflation, affordability and market volatility. The survey also found high levels of career satisfaction among CFP® professionals, while most reported that client sentiment has remained stable or improved over the past year.
