CFP Planners See Uptick In Client Optimism Despite Inflation, Volatility

According to CFP Board’s Summer 2026 CFP® Professional Sentiment Index, CFP® professionals reported growing optimism among their clients, with 50% saying clients have a positive financial outlook, up from 36% in the spring, despite ongoing concerns about affordability and market volatility. CFP® professionals also reported increased confidence in their own financial outlook, reflecting a broader rebound in sentiment compared with earlier this year.
