7 Ways Gen Xers Are Sabotaging Their Retirement Savings

Many Gen Xers nearing retirement say they feel unprepared financially and regret past decisions such as taking on too much debt, delaying retirement savings and spending beyond their means. Those findings are echoed in CFP Board’s Lessons Learned: A Survey of American Gen Xers, which found that financial missteps made earlier in life continue to weigh on many members of the generation as they approach retirement.
