Number of CFP Board Exam Takers Hits All-Time High

CFP Board had a record 4,391 candidates take the CFP® certification exam in March, with 75% under age 40 and nearly half under 30, signaling earlier entry into the profession. CFP Board CEO K. Dane Snowden said the results reflect a stronger, more intentional pipeline into financial planning, supported by the rapid growth of CFP Board registered bachelor’s degree programs and increased collaboration among educators and firms.
