Financial FOMO Fuels Future Finances

CFP Board research shows that nearly half of Americans say the financial situations of close friends or family have significantly influenced how they view their own finances, while another 35% report some level of impact. According to CFP Board’s Financial FOMO: A Survey About Money and Relationships, married Americans and adults age 40 and under are more likely than their peers to compare their financial situations to those around them.
