Politics Are Loud. Clients Are Nervous. Why Investing Isn’t Stopping

CFP Board's 2026 CFP Professionals Financial Outlook Survey finds that politics are clients' top concern heading into the year, with half of CFP® professionals reporting clients mention it in relation to their financial goals — surpassing worries about inflation and prices (39%), the national economy (34%) and market stability (34%). Despite this uncertainty, clients and CFP® professionals alike agree on the need to be proactive.
