Clients of CFP® Professionals Have Greater Financial Preparedness, Confidence and Trust, Study Confirms

Findings from CFP Board’s Trust. Confidence. Impact: 2025 Financial Planning Longitudinal Study show that Americans advised by CFP® professionals experience stronger financial outcomes than those using other advisors or managing finances on their own. In the study’s second year, 94% of CFP® professional-advised households reported confidence in reaching their financial goals, compared with 85% of households using other advisors and 81% of unadvised Americans.
