Narrow-Focused ETFs Carry Risks, Advisors Warn

Market analysts warn that exchange-traded funds with concentrated holdings, often in trendy sectors like cannabis or cryptocurrencies, can be more volatile and carry higher risks than broad-based ETFs. CFP Board Ambassador Shashin Shah, CFP® said advisors educate clients on these risks and encourage them to “look under the hood” to understand the holdings before investing.
