CFP Board Submits Comments in Response to FINRA Regulatory Notices on Rule Modernization

On July 14, 2025, CFP Board submitted a comment letter to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) in response to FINRA’s Regulatory Notices on rule modernization. In the letter, CFP Board supports FINRA in its recognition of the challenges and opportunities of new technologies and their impacts on rules and guidance, but also urges FINRA to make investor protection a key focus of any modernization efforts.
