Can Pro Bono Work Pay Off?

Many new advisors are drawn to firms that support pro bono financial planning and a culture of service. The Foundation for Financial Planning (FFP) aims to increase the percentage of CFP® professionals reporting pro bono hours from 17% to 30% by 2030. FFP was encouraged by CFP Board’s landmark recommendation two years ago that all CFP® professionals provide at least 20 hours annually.
