Study Finds Mom Advisors Beating Industry Earnings

A new survey reveals that mothers working as financial advisors earn above-average incomes and report strong career satisfaction. These advisor-mothers earn a median of $185,000 by their seventh year, significantly outpacing the $150,000 average for CFP® professionals in years five through seven and exceeding the $161,700 median for all RIAs, according to CFP Board's 2024 compensation survey.
