A new McKinsey & Company study highlights the wealth management industry's "monumental" hiring challenge, with a projected shortage of about 100,000 financial advisors by 2034 to meet client demand. On a positive note, CFP Board announced that four brokerage firms boosted their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® ranks in 2023, contributing to a record 103,200 CFP® professionals.
