Debt at Center of Americans' Financial Concerns: CFP Board

A nationwide survey by CFP Board found that reducing debt is the top financial priority for many Americans in 2025, with 42% of Americans citing it as their main concern. The survey also revealed that many individuals with significant credit card or medical debt struggle to manage it, with 6 in 10 and 7 in 10 reporting difficulties, respectively.
