Advisor Coalition Urges Congress to Restore Financial Advice Tax Deduction

A coalition of prominent financial planning organizations has urged a House committee to restore the tax deduction for financial advice, which was eliminated by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017. Members, including CFP Board, submitted a joint letter to the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee regarding the effects of expiring TCJA provisions on families, workers, businesses and communities.
