House Committee Advances Resolution to Overturn DOL Fiduciary Rule

The House Appropriations Committee has approved a funding measure that includes policy riders blocking the U.S. Department of Labor from using funds to administer, implement or enforce various regulations, including the Retirement Security Rule. Advocates for fiduciary investment advice, such as CFP Board, have supported the Retirement Security Rule since its proposal in 2023.
