Updated Terms and Conditions of Certification and Trademark License, Effective February 21, 2022
CFP Board’s Terms and Conditions of Certification and Trademark License ("Terms") have been revised, effective February 21, 2022.
Read the full text of the revised Terms and Review a redlined copy of the revised Terms.
The Terms set forth the contractual agreement between CFP Board and each individual CFP® professional. CFP Board periodically updates the Terms, and these latest revisions to the Terms are technical changes aligned with the Board’s adoption of updated Procedural Rules to create an Appeals Commission, changing prior references to the Code and Standards Enforcement Committee to reflect the new Appeals Commission, and clarifying that the Appeals Commission will adjudicate any appeals filed on or after February 21, 2022.
CFP Board encourages all CFP® professionals and candidates for CFP® certification to familiarize themselves with the revised Terms.
