Prometric Boost is available in the app store on iOS and Android devices and on the web on Mac, PC and Chromebook computers.

After you purchase CFP® Exam Practice App, you will receive an email from Prometric Boost with a link to start studying.

• Click the link to open CFP® Exam Practice App on your browser or download the Prometric Boost mobile app.
• Enter the email address on your CFP Board account.
• Enter the four-digit access code you will receive in a second email security notification.

The first time you launch CFP® Exam Practice App on your phone or computer, click the Play button and take the “Getting Started” quiz to learn more.

You can only access the “Getting Started” quiz your first time using CFP® Exam Practice App.

CFP® Exam Practice App offers one year of access. You can choose to renew the subscription after access expires.

CFP® Exam Practice App contains multiple short quizzes for each domain on the CFP® exam. You can choose any topic to study at any time and there are no limits on quiz retakes. When taking quizzes, you will also receive option-specific feedback indicating why that option is correct or incorrect. At the end of each quiz, you will receive a score.

CFP® Exam Practice App is the only exam preparation tool that is developed by CFP Board. CFP® Exam Practice App offers quizzes with micro-learning backed by science, as well as AI-based personalized recommendations.

CFP® Exam Practice App provides a content library of CFP® exam practice questions organized by Principal Knowledge Domains, using AI and micro-learning for feedback and personalized quizzes. The CFP Board Practice Exam is formatted and timed like a mock exam with 170 questions and 6 hours of testing time.

CFP® Exam Practice App provides a bank of practice questions presented in short quizzes while CFP Board Practice Exam simulate real exam conditions. Use CFP® Exam Practice App for targeted study by domain and CFP Board Practice Exam for overall assessment. Together, these tools support both content mastery and exam confidence. We recommend purchasing a bundle with both products to enjoy cost savings and robust exam preparation.
