Description
The Asset Management Education Program is designed to broaden the investment professional’s skill set with respect to managing client assets through a comprehensive process as opposed to a transaction focused approach. Students will learn the steps in the asset management process, how to create an Investment Policy Statement and the purpose it serves, how to measure, understand and address risk, return and performance, how to create appropriate asset allocations for clients, various investment and tax strategies as well as addressing other planning issues such as insurance needs/risk protection, retirement and estate planning, and regulatory and ethical issues that exist for investment professionals.
