The class will cover Social Security basics and advanced planning strategies. The majority of Social Security recipients do not maximize benefits as they are not aware of their options. Professional advisors also know very little about Social Security and are unable to properly advise their clients. The course will cover Social Security basics and advanced planning strategies such as "claim and suspend" and "restricted application". At the conclusion of the course, advisors will possess the confidence to discuss Social Security with their clients and to be proactive.
