Certification from Outside the US
Did you know that CFP professionals outside the U.S. in Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) affiliate territories qualify for the Accelerated Path – a faster path to CFP® certification in the U.S.?
Simply provide proof of your current CFP certification from the FPSB Affiliate Member in your territory and proof of completion of the required Capstone course through a CFP Board Registered Program. Qualifying documentation should be sent to the Education team.
International CFP professionals must meet all CFP Board requirements for CFP® certification, including passing the CFP® certification exam.
