The U.S. News and World Report annual Jobs Report consistently ranks financial advisor among the top 10 Best Business Jobs. In the January 2019 report, financial advisor is ranked: #9  in Best Business Jobs, #19 in Best Paying Jobs, #44 in Best Jobs. 

U.S. Department of Labor Outlook

The job outlook for careers in personal financial advising is very optimistic. The U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Outlook Handbook predicts a 15% job growth in the financial advising field through 2026. The Handbook provides additional information on personal financial advisors, like “What They Do” and “How to Become One.”

Aite Group Report

A comprehensive Aite Group study seeks to identify and quantify differences between financial advisors who hold the CFP® certification and financial advisors who do not hold the CFP® certification.
