30 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professionals Named in Financial Times “FT 100 US Women Financial Advisers 2014”

Nov 24, 2014

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. is proud to announce that 30 CFP® professionals were named in Financial Times’ “FT 100 U.S. Women Financial Advisers 2014.”

“I want to extend my sincere congratulations to the 30 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals named to
Financial Times’ ‘FT 100 U.S. Women Financial Advisers’,” said CFP Board CEO Kevin Keller, CAE.  “This is a great honor that highlights their dedication to clients and to the financial planning profession.”

Financial Times
generates this list by inviting brokerages, private banks, and registered investment advisers to submit candidates, and uses advisers’ self-reported data, regulatory disclosures and research to score attributes such as assets under management, growth rate, and credentials.

Financial Times report recognizes that CFP® professionals make up a third of its list, noting that CFP® certification has helped women advisers advance their careers and grow their business,” said CFP Board Chair Ray Ferrara, CFP®. “This is certainly true of many of the nearly 71,000 CFP® professionals in the U.S.—men and women. As CFP Board continues its Women’s Initiative to find solutions to increasing the number of women in the financial planning profession, we are pleased that so many CFP® professionals are being recognized as among the best women financial advisers in our nation.”
