CFP Board and Others Voice Opposition to H.R. 2374

On June 18, 2013, CFP Board and six other consumer, industry and state regulator organizations sent a letter to the House Financial Services Committee urging them to oppose the Retail Investor Protection Act (H.R. 2374).  The letter expresses concerns by group that H.R. 2374 would unnecessarily slow down the DOL's rulemaking by tying it to the SEC's rulemaking.
