Join CFP Board at a public forum focused on educating CFP® professionals, firms, and the public on the new Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct, which become effective October 1, 2019. Registration for the September 2018 Public Forums is now available.

About the Public Forums

These events feature:

  • A presentation on the new Standards by a member of CFP Board’s Standards Resources Commission and CFP Board's General Counsel
  • Time for dialogue and questions about the new Standards
  • The opportunity to provide input on the kinds of resources that CFP® professionals and firms would find helpful in their understanding, adoption and compliance with the new Standards
  • Complimentary continental breakfast or refreshments

Public Forums will be held in the following cities during 2018 and 2019: 

  • September 2018: Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Boston (Details and Registration below)
  • December 2018: Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, and Atlanta
  • March 2019: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, and Kansas City
  • June 2019: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Phoenix
  • September 2019: Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Pittsburgh
  • December 2019: Denver, Seattle, and Portland

CFP Board will notify CFP® professionals and other stakeholders in areas near the events when the meeting locations are secured.
