Proposed Revisions to CFP Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct

CFP Board has released a draft of proposed revisions to its Standards for a 60-day public comment period that begins Tuesday, June 20, 2017 and ends Monday, August 21, 2017.  Comments may be submitted by email to or through an online form accessible from the button below.

Comments submitted to CFP Board will be posted on our website with the name of the commenter and date submitted (new comments will be posted on at least a weekly basis).  If you do not want your comment posted on the website, please state so clearly at the start of your comment.

CFP Board’s Board of Directors will consider the feedback received during the comment period.  The final revised Standards will be announced at a later date along with an effective date for implementation.
