CFP Board's first Education Update Webinar provided updates to education providers on new and upcoming changes to CFP Board’s education policies. During this event, Ivan C. Roten, CFP®, 2009 Chair of CFP Board’s Council on Education, provided updates on CFP Board’s education policies, including the implementation of new registration and reporting procedures. Carol Lee Roberts, CFP®, CFP Board’s Managing Director of Education, also provided information about the implementation of a Financial Plan Development Course requirement, sharing insights from her participation on CFP Board’s Education Task Force and the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB). The program also included announcements about CFP Board’s 2009 Program Directors’ Conference, which will take place August 13-15, 2009 in Arlington, Virginia.
